The Audio Visual systems within the facility are extensive and complex ensuring that Research carried out within the Laboratories can be viewed in non sterile meeting and learning spaces. UTP, Fibre Optic and traditional Video over copper was used due to the infancy of HD Base T and concerns were had as to it's robustness at the time. Technologies include Video Conferencing, High Definition LCD Displays and Projectors.
Working with the Architects, Consultants, Builders and Contractors the project presented challenging and rewarding outcomes. Our direct involvement realised significant cost savings due to newer products and a higher exchange rate which were passed back to the client.

"The M2 Building is to be a catalyst for innovative learning and teaching and high quality research in the materials and minerals science and engineering hub located at Mawson Lakes. The building facilitates the engagement between undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, higher degree research students, leading researchers and industry stakeholders in a flexible, open and creative spaceaimed at stimulating innovation in relevant areas. The building will ensure the delivery of contemporary practice-based education programs and internationally significant research"
